	NATIONAL SAFE BOATING WEEK - 2009


	Each year, the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) and the U.S. Coast Guard Team join with other groups to promote boating safety.

		2009 Dates ~ May 16th to May 22rd

May 16th - Kick off of events for Flotilla 11- 9 begins with the Public Relations booth set up at the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks at 0900 to 1400.

Safe boating literature handouts, coloring books and crayons for children will be handed to the pubic. Sign up for safe boating courses offered to the public will be promoted.

The 47’ Safe Boat from Station Sand Key and crew will be there for public tours of the vessel.
